Affection

There is no affection between Mr. Bennet and I! What happened to the fun days? They have been replaced by the fraying of my nerves and creating anxiety for me, that's what happened! Oh, why did I agree to this life?

  1. What do you mean no affection, my dear mother? I've always looked up to you and father as a wonderful example of marriage! Oh I cannot even bear to think that you believe he has no affection for you! Mother you worry me so! I love you both dearly, and I hope this is only a fleeting moment of doubt! Oh mother dear, I know you only meant it for the best and that you are simply worried, but I wish you wouldn't worry me so... It truly hurts to think something like this may happen to the only couple I have ever thought of as from out of a fairy tale...

  2. Mother, do not worry. If father did not have affection for you he would not mock you the way he does. Now, if you want the fun days to come back why don't you stop your whining and try! Another thing that you can do is to be the one to mock him. Try something different, mother.

  3. Do not worry mother. I know that you guys still have affections for each other. I know that you and my father are the most lovliest parents that will be with each other untill the end. I really look up to two, and I also think that there will never be a great relationship that will be as good as yours.

  4. Mrs. Bennet, you are beautiful still. Take a page from my book. Compliments will make your husband really appreciate you. Just ask my darling Charlotte.

  5. You and your husband may be growing apart because of the poor guidance of your children. You are sending Lydia to Brighton, which is a poor choice. Mrs. B, you also do not respect marriage. There are good marriages and bad marriages. Collins and Charlotte are doing fine, so leave them alone. Also, me and Jane dodged an imprudent marriage, so just let it go!

  6. Mrs. Bennet, maybe if you stop being so unintelligent Mr.Bennet may be more affectionate toward you. Because of your connections and inferiority that I struggle to love Lizzy. If it is not for you, I may have found loving Lizzy more agreeable. Therefore, you need to be ashamed of yourself as well as your actions.

  7. Mother, I mean no disrespect, but you are highly irrational. You are unreasonable and over dramatic. How can you expect a man like my father, who is so easy-going and kind spirited to love a witch like you? If you want the 'fun days' to return, you must fix yourself.
