Mr. Bennet!

Mr. Bennet:

Please bring Lydia back safely from the hands of that devious Wickham! It is of utmost importance to retrieve my youngest! She must be taught how she has dishonoured us all, embarrassed her sisters, and made me ill! Oh, woe is me, do bring her back.

  1. Mrs. Bennet, do not beg your husband so. It is not becoming. The whole premise is irrational too. Nothing can be gained by bringing your daughter back. Her situation in life is totally doomed.

  2. Mrs. Bennet, please do get Lydia away from Wickham. Wickham is nothing but trouble. Do not let Lydia and him become attached any more. Please seperate them immediately, it will do good for everybody. Be wise and take my advise.

  3. Oh mother, I agree with you. Father had better find Lydia fast before she does something even more foolish. And we know with Lydia that is quite possible. Father should not have let her go to Brighton.
