Mr. Gardiner has found Lydia and Wickham! Alas, there is no talk of a marriage. However, I am sure that my brother will talk sense into them. They will marry, I am positive of this.
Such good news, how happy I am to hear it, mother! It is truly a blessing to know that they have been found. But, sadly, no talk of marriage yet, mother? Oh that will surely change! We mustn't fret, for Wickham will marry our little Lydia! But in all truth, I hope he will only marry her, if he truly loves her. If not, I would never wish for him to even consider it because she should have happiness in her marriage.
